He got a late start in training due to circumstances with his prior owner and has had a very limited show career. He has potential as a very good cutting performer, as well as, a top breeding stallion. He has been test bred to a limited number of mares and is extremely fertile. His oldest foals are two year olds; they are very trainable and athletic.

His sire is Absolute Lena - An outstanding son of Doc O'Lena, leading paternal grandsire in 2003 with earners of over $6,300,000, and out of Uno Dixie, NCHA producer of over $148,000 and maternal granddam of NCHA earners totaling over $278,000. Absolute Lena, an exceptional cutting prospect and now deceased, was injured at the El Cid pre-work prior to the 1996 NCHA Futurity and never shown. CTR Absolute Peppy is his only offspring.

His dam is Shea Peppy - This mare, unshown due to injury, is by Peppy San Badger, 2nd all-time leading cutting sire with NCHA earners of over $23,800,000, and out of Doc Bar Tonette, NCHA producer of over $206,000. Shea Peppy has full siblings that have NCHA earnings of over $185,000, including Peppy Shea with NCHA earnings of over $117,000.
